The following comic strips have been expressly created for Valico by Leonardo Borazio. The strips are planned to point out aspects of the learners' interlanguage: use of verb tenses (imperfetto vs passato prossimo or remoto), pronominalization, the order of immediate constituents within a sentence ...

The same strips serve also as the basis for VINCA ("Varietą Italiane Native: Corpus Appaiato", i.e. 'Comparable Corpus of Italian Native Varieties'). Vinca is a corpus of written italian compiled by native speakers, and based on the same activities assigned to the foreign learners in Valico.

The suppliers of the texts for Valico are asked to attach the same standard set of questions referred to in the Valico Guidelines.
The suppliers of the texts for Vinca are asked to attach an expecially devised questionnaire.

The suggested task should be carried out according to the following instructions:
(1) Write a story interpreting the strip.
(2) Do not describe each picture: everybody, even who has not seen the strip, should understand what has happened.
(3) Do use more than 100 words.

A Dream: download the whole strip in black and white JPG and its task.

Mistake: download the whole strip in black and white JPG and its task.

Love: download the whole strip in black and white JPG and its task.
